Understanding & Compassion
As an LPC for 9 years my passion is working with individuals who deal with anxiety and trauma disorders. I know what it feels like to deal with anxiety and take great joy in helping people get their life back after being overwhelmed. I approach therapy with humor, openness and empathy. I want to make you feel comfortable so you feel safe to talk, and give you practical skills.
I work from a wholistic approach to treatment that addresses your individual needs and will find meaningful solutions to the the emotional, physical, nutritional, social, relational, spiritual, and occupational effects your mental health has in your life.
I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), a Cognitive Processing Therapy Provider (CPT), and have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy (ISRT), and nutritional support of mental health.
I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas in Austin, and a Master's of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. I am based in San Marcos TX, just outside of Austin and San Antonio and practice online using telehealth services. I maintain license in Texas, Colorado, and Missouri.
My goal in therapy is to provide meaningful solutions to move you forward in your mental health.
